Your engine goes on our test stand set up like it's in your car: radiator, fan and exhaust hooked up. It runs for 45 minutes while we check, adjust and monitor everything. About 5 hours per engine, every engine.
Balancer, timing cover, pan, rear main, cam plug, filter housing, intake seals, head gaskets, valve covers, distributor.
Freeze plugs, block drains, water pump, head and intake gaskets, thermostat housing, every hose connection.
Fuel pump and lines, carburetor, fittings, clamps and filter.
Intake gaskets, manifold plugs, vacuum advance, internal leaks and the PCV system.
500–1,500, 1,500–3,500 and 3,500–5,500 RPM. Tested for any hesitation.
Idle mixture, fast idle, choke operation and idle speed adjusted.
